Marketing Internship
Interns with Solace Counseling and Consulting LLC get an unmatched marketing experience. Are you an energetic, creative and teachable emerging marketing professional? This internship will give you the opportunity to design and implement marketing, advertising and social media campaigns to diverse groups. Our unpaid interns build relationships with community organizations and local media to broaden brand awareness and educate potential clients about the services offered. This is a great opportunity for a college student or recent college grad to gain experience in an intimate and professional environment.
INTERNSHIP DATES:
May – August 2025
Mental Health Advocacy
Our practice advocates for holistic mental health and wellness. We promote counseling and behavioral health services.
Social Media Experience
We create social media content, podcast, blogs and initiatives to promote wellbeing.
Events and Networking
We hosts trainings and events to further mental health psychoeducation and awareness.
What we are looking for...
Requirements & Responsibilities
HOURS:
20-25 hours per week, some weekend hours. Schedule can be flexible.

- Strong work-ethic
- The desire to learn
- Passionate about marketing
- Strong reading, writing and grammar skills
- General understanding of various social media platforms
- Willingness to assist with administrative projects
- A positive advocate for mental health / wellness
- Undergraduate Student (Completing Upper-Level Courses)
- Program / Project design abilities
- Knowledge of social media tools, applications, scheduling and analytics
- Develop and design promotional marketing materials
- Create social media and blog content
- Research competitive marketing and advertising strategies
- Update marketing knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
- Promote media relations and schedules speaking opportunities
- Building and maintaining media relationships both locally and nationally
- Design, develop and implement a marketing and advertising campaign
- Develop and implement social media strategies
