Marketing Internships

Position Description

Interns with Solace Counseling and Consulting LLC get an unmatched marketing experience. Are you an energetic, creative and teachable emerging marketing professional? This internship will give you the opportunity to design and implement marketing, advertising and social media campaigns to diverse groups. Our unpaid interns build relationships with community organizations and local media to broaden brand awareness and educate potential clients about the services offered. This is a great opportunity for a college student or recent college grad to gain experience in an intimate and professional environment.

Solace is a mental health practice specializing in interpersonal wellness. We often work with high profile clients seeking the holistic benefits of integrative mental health support. Solace offers therapeutic services, leadership initiatives and organizational consultation for clients in the metro Atlanta area and across the state of Georgia. Our interns help to expand awareness of these services to all demographics seeking growth and development.

-- Marketing Internship – Fall Internship (September – December 2018)

Requirements & Responsibilities

  • Strong work-ethic
  • The desire to learn
  • Passionate about marketing
  • A positive advocate for mental health
  • Strong reading, writing and grammar skills
  • Basic technical skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • General understanding of various social media platforms
  • Willingness to assist with administrative projects
  • Researches competitive marketing and advertising strategies
  • Updates marketing knowledge by participating in educational opportunities
  • Promotes media relations and schedules speaking opportunities
  • Assists with building and maintaining media relationships both locally and nationally
  • Find guest blogging opportunities and create blog content

Preferences (Additional skills preferred)

  • Undergraduate Student (Completing Upper-Level Courses)
  • Program / Project design abilities
  • Knowledge of social media tools and applications
  • Develop and design promotional marketing materials

15-20 hours per week, some weekend hours. Schedule can be flexible.
