Counseling Experience
Dr. Glenn is dually trained as a Pastoral Counselor and Licensed Professional Counselor. Her clinical training has emphasized the integration of theological and psychological theory into responsible clinical practice. Her clinical experiences range broadly from marriage and family therapy practice to college counseling with specific training that includes Adolescents, Family Systems, Crisis and Trauma, and College/Career Counseling. For five years, she served as the Director of The Care and Counseling Center of Georgia satellite counseling center at Turner Chapel A.M.E. Church in Marietta while concurrently working as a Personal Counselor to students at Georgia State University, Perimeter College (formerly known as Georgia Perimeter College). Currently, she is the Owner/Therapist of Solace Counseling and Consulting, LLC and the Director of the Hopewell Counseling Center in Norcross, Georgia.
Academic Experience
Dr. Glenn is an Adjunct Professor in Contextual Education with Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Dr. Glenn has previously served as an Adjunct Professor in Pastoral Care and Counseling for McAfee School of Theology at Mercer University. In addition, she teaches mental health related courses for various undergraduate and graduate university programs. Courses include Abnormal Psychology, Family Systems, Pastoral Care and Counseling, Pastoral Theology and Multicultural Counseling. Dr. Glenn completed a Doctorate of Theology degree in Pastoral Counseling at Candler School of Theology, Emory University. Her dissertation research focused on the role of spirituality in young adult childhood-trauma survivor resilience and she published an article in the Journal of Spirituality in Mental Health in 2014 titled “A Bridge Over Troubled Waters: Spirituality and Resilience with Emerging Adult Childhood Trauma Survivors.” That article became one of the most downloaded articles published in Routledge Behavioral Sciences journals in 2014. Dr. Glenn has published several articles and essays related to spiritual identity development, college counseling, and mental health stigma.

Ministerial Leadership Experience
Vocationally, Dr. Glenn lives a life of serving others. She is a pastor and chaplain. She currently serves as the Director of the Spiritual Care and Counseling Ministry and Youth Pastor at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church. In addition to church ministry service, Dr. Glenn has served as a chaplain in hospital, juvenile detention, and community settings.
Supervision Experience
Dr. Glenn is an Approved Clinical Supervisor with the Center for Credentialing Education. She has years of experience as a site supervisor for mental health professionals including professional counselors, social workers, pastoral care practitioners and pastoral counselors.

With over 20 years of counseling and ministerial experience, Millicent brings a heart for individuals, couples and families, and she is committed to journey alongside them as they come to understand, work through or simply acknowledge their True Self. Along with her passion and commitment to empowering others, Millicent brings a wealth of knowledge on the impact of addiction on the individual and the family.

Michayla Maxwell is a Senior Broadcast Journalism major and Photography minor at Howard University from Atlanta, Georgia.
She is very involved at Howard University being the President of Minorities in Sports: Howard Chapter, the events coordinator for the Black Girls House community service organization, Field Producer of Sports in Spotlight Network, a Sports Reporter for The Hilltop, the Co-Director of events for the school of communications student council and 2022-2023 Miss Cathy Hughes School of Communications.
Michayla is highly motivated with passions for the youth, sports, journalism, and service. She has been able to gain leadership and greater communication skills throughout her matriculation. She has goals of being an on air reporter for a major sports network or team following graduation. She also plans on attending graduate school and later on opening a non profit for minorities in sports to advocate for their health and share their stories.
Dr. Ca Trice Glenn and the Solace team offer a wide range of training opportunities for companies and organizations. Most trainings incorporate integrated wellness and interpersonal practices for both small and large group events.
