We have three payment options for our counseling sessions.
1. Private Pay -- Clients pay our full per session fee of $150. Clients who prefer not to have their medical records submitted to an insurance panel will prefer this method. When clients private pay for sessions, only the clinician and office administration will have access to session information barring legal mandates.
2. Medical/Behavioral Health Insurance -- We do accept some insurance panels. Currently we accept insurance carriers: Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shields, Aetna, ComPsych and other out-of-network carriers. Contact our office for more details.
3. Sliding Scale -- We do have sliding scale rates available based on family income levels. Session fees range between $65 - $130. Contact our office for more details.
At Solace Counseling and Consulting LLC you can expect to meet with one of our licensed therapists with years of experience and dually trained in theology and psychology. Our sessions begin by gathering personal history and a history of the current issues. We will discuss the obstacles you are currently facing and discuss strategies to address your concerns. We will also write out a treatment plan and set goals for what you would like to accomplish in our time together.
Sessions are usually 45 to 50 minutes in length. Longer and shorter sessions can be arranged as needed.
There is no defined timeframe. Everyone is different and has their own unique needs. Therefore, we develop each client's treatment plan on an individual basis. As discussed previously, in our first session we will make a treatment plan based upon the clients' needs and estimate how many sessions may be a good fit.
This is often a misconception and in reality seeking counseling is actually a courageous act. Counseling will help you come face-to-face with difficult situations and provide you with the tools to move forward in a healthy way.
