Brain Dump: Journal for Busy College Students

This journal was created by a former director of college counseling. It offers a concentrated space to release whatever is cluttering your thoughts, reflect on the impact of those things and develop action plans to make real change. College is a time of tremendous growth but also a time of new challenges and conflicts. This space is for you! This journal highlights common challenges college students face. My prayer is that this journal will help you release, reflect and plan your next steps.

RELEASE
Use the “Let it out” pages to 'brain dump.' These pages have less structure and offer a place to capture your thoughts. They are intended to provide uninterrupted space to download any thoughts that are floating around in your consciousness.

REFLECT
There are spaces dedicated to 'productive reflection'. Here you will find pages dedicated to developing action items, noting things you have learned and gratitude pages to capture your reflections.

PLAN
There are eleven topical reflection pages (i.e., confidence, relationships, work etc.) with prompts to guide reflections in these areas. In additional to “needs” and “goals” questions, each topic section has a reflection quote for meditation and a list of useful self-care tips.
